KICS International Seminar was held with Mr. Takaaki Ono from Kawajiricho, Hitachi City as a lecturer. For 49 days from April this year, Mr. Ono continued his 800km journey from Saint Jean Piedpol in France to the Christian cathedral in Santeago, Spain, walking 30km every day.
This sacred place pilgrimage has been held for 1000 years, and it is said that more than 200,000 people are still traveling by bicycle, horse, car, etc. every year. He was the secretary to resemble the trip of Shikoku Pilgrimage in Japan. It was a fascinating seminar that time will be forgotten, such as Mr. Ono's detailed travel plans, talks about running with full of vitality, and warm heart-to-heart contact through communication with strangers.
Finally, Mr. Ono gave us a lot of excitement, saying that the success of this pilgrimage would not have been possible without the power of his family, and that he was able to further strengthen his family ties over the last 49 days.
